2021 Canadian Angus Association Convention Scheduled for Saskatoon Cancelled
March 8, 2021
Due to the uncertainty in the industry and unknown restrictions that will exist, the Canadian Angus Association Board of Directors have decided to cancel the 2021 CAA Convention scheduled to take place in Saskatoon from June 10 to 12.
The 2021 CAA AGM will be moved to Angus Central, our office in Rocky View County, Alberta, with both virtual and in-person attendance options and will follow the June CAA board meetings. The CAA will continue to monitor Alberta Health Services guidelines and provincial restrictions with the hope to have as many traditional Convention-related events as possible based on current guidelines that will be in place at that time. The CAA will remain fluid to adapt to the situation and looks forward to being able to announce updated information on the events of that week as we move through the coming months.
We were all excited about the showcase that our hosts in Saskatoon and the Saskatchewan Angus Association were going to provide. The CAA Convention and AGM will return to Saskatchewan in 2023.
Please watch the CAA monthly newsletter, the Angus Advisor, and the National Convention page on our website for updated information.
