Through this support you help us administer association activities and promotions to commercial producers, such as providing sale vouchers, prize money, Canadian Angus tags and apparel. It also helps us recognize outstanding producers through various awards, sponsor events that forward the breed in Manitoba, including the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, the Keystone Klassic and other sanctioned Gold and Junior Shows.

Your contribution provides rewards for 4-H participants as well. We also provide funding for the Manitoba Junior Angus Association to ensure the future of Angus in the province, with scholarships, travel bursaries and educational opportunities, promoting greater knowledge of the cattle industry.

Membership funds support an administration team and management that serve to make valuable connections with the rest of the industry including the Canadian Angus Association, other regional Angus associations across Canada as well as international Angus associations. We produce resource material for the general public to promote the Angus breed and provide educational resources about the breed, raising beef cattle and the nutritional benefits of eating beef. Association representatives attend industry conferences and trade shows promoting the breed. Our communications, such as The Outlook, provide valuable breeder marketing tools and information for members and commercial producers alike.

Other good reasons to join us:
