Canadian Junior Angus Show, Showdown
The annual national Canadian Junior Angus show, Showdown, is an outlet for juniors from across the nation to gather in one location to exhibit their Angus cattle in conformation divisions. There have been many different activities and contests added over the years: marketing, sales talk, judging, team judging, team grooming, photography, literature, art, scrapbooking, public speaking, Angus cook-off, Spirit of Angus youth and grand aggregate.

Quebec Gold Shows
The Quebec Angus Association is proud to be a part of the Canadian Angus Association Gold Show Program. Each year, two shows are designated as Gold Shows wherein breeders can accumulate points for individual animals that are exhibited. In 2025, they were held at Brome Fair in Brome and at Expo-BÅ“uf in Victoriaville. The 2026 shows will be announced shortly.
