Scholarships

2024 B.C. ANGUS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Eligibility:
✓ Must be a member of the Canadian Junior Angus Association and a B.C. resident.
✓ Must be 21 years of age or younger.
✓ The money must be used at a recognized post secondary institution.
✓ Two copies of your application must be received by May 1, 2024
✓ A copy of your latest report card must be attached to the application with a list of your grade 11 and 12 courses. (If your school is on semesters, please note your first term courses and results.)
Note: Proof of registration at a post secondary institution must be forwarded to the BC Angus Association office before the money will be awarded.

We are very pleased to announce Hanna Fitcher and Jordan Bapty as our 2023 Scholarship Recipients.

 

Hanna Fitchett graduated high school in early January 2023 and works part time at a purebred cattle operation as well as at home assisting her parents manage and calf a commercial Angus herd of approximately 250 cows. Hanna plans to study Agri Business at Lakeland College in Vermillion, Alberta in the fall of 2023.

Congratulations and best of success from all of your Angus friends Hanna.

 

Jordan Bapty in grade 9 decided to obtain her schooling for the second semesters on line. In doing so, this would allow Jordan time and opportunity to work and mentor along side of her parents Nick & Elaine Bapty at Coldstream Ranch. Jordan has been accepted at Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, BC to pursue her Bachelors in Natural Resource Science.

Congratulations Jordan, best of success as well is extended to you from your many friends and extended Angus families.
