• Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach officially opened the 10th World Angus Forum

• World Angus Secretariat delegates were "white hatted", becoming honourary Calgarians

• $21,000 donation to the Canadian Angus Foundation through two donated animals. Soo Line Cattle Co. of Midale, Saskatchewan donated the pick of their 2009 red Angus heifer calves (sold to Blairs. Ag Cattle Co. for $11,500) and Sandy Bar Ranch of Aneroid, Saskatchewan donated the pick of their 2009 black Angus heifer calves (sold to Tullamore Angus for $9,500)

• High seller: pick of the Belvin Angus 2009 calf crop for $ 32,500 purchased by Coul Angus of Angus, Scotland

• Sale Average $5,978 on 60 lots

• Sale Gross $358,683

• Gala banquet featuring a live auction that raised $11,720 for the Canadian Angus Foundation and musical entertainment from Gord Bamford. Special thanks to the following people who purchased auction items:
