Ordering Angus Tags

Requirements

• Cattle must have at least one registered Angus parent

• Registration papers/semen receipt/lease of parent must be in the tag buyer’s name

• Signed affidavit from community pasture identifying the bull(s) used, or embryo transfer slip, or signed affidavit identifying the bull in a family co-owned herd, or a signed affidavit from the original breeder identifying the registered Angus bull in the case of bred females being sold are also accepted as proof of ownership

• Free CACP membership is required (see below)

How to Order Angus Tags

1. Purchase a registered Angus bull and have the seller transfer the registration into your name

2. Fill out the Canadian Angus Certification Program membership form and the Angus tag order form

3. Submit your order to the Canadian Angus Association office:

Tags are shipped through Canada Post. Please allow 5–10 business days for tags to arrive. Rush shipping (2–3 days) is available.
